Salvation - A MarthxRoy fic   The rain perfumed the brisk Autumn air with a salty-sweet scent, brushing against trees and errant foliage. A crowd of people stood huddled together in the rain, brought together by a shared sense of grief and loss. They stood in an uneven ring around a large hole, into which a coffin was being lowered. The coffin hit the ground gently, soundlessly, but punctuated by fresh sobs of grief, as if the physical connection of coffin and grave had been the final confirmation of the tragedy.   
   A lone, slightly hunched figure stood apart from the rest, clad in light clothes and a long, hooded grey cloak. Salvation - A MarthxRoy fic
